Class 3 have had a bee-sy day! They have been learning all about bees during their Nature WOW day. This morning they wrote interesting facts about the different types of bees and sketched a honey bee and a bumble bee to identify the differences. This afternoon lots of parents joined us for a carousel of bee-related craft. Thank you for the amazing turn out! The day ended with tasting two types of honey. We hope you had fun.

Egyptian WOW day!
Egyptian WOW Day!
To launch our topic of Ancient Egypt, Year 3 had a WOW day. We came to school dressed as Egyptians and spent the day making tombs for mummies, painting a cartouche and writing in hieroglyphics. Here are some photos of our day.
Tractor visit - Mr and Mrs Nagel kindly brought in their tractor for us to look at as we are busy learning about Lincolnshire. We know that farming is important in Lincolnshire and we grow many different crops, including potatoes and brussel sprouts. It was a sunny afternoon, so we sat outside and sketched the tractor.
