Our fun, inclusive after school club that brings a smile to every child's face at the end of their school day.

Our Squirrels provision is run by friendly, experienced and qualified professionals. This club provides after school care to children aged 4 to 11 years old from 3:15pm until 6.15pm.

If children are signed up to attend an after school club, such as a sports club, they are directed to Squirrels by a member of staff when their club finishes. We are currently based in our spacious mobile that has a variety of games and toys for all children to enjoy that match their interests. We also have a large outdoor area including a climbing fort and multi-purpose safe play surface. 

We aspire to encourage our children to step out of their comfort zone and try new things. Every week, there are different activities for children to take part in. For example, gardening, crafts, cooking, sport and music. Squirrels has a passion for promoting equality and diversity. For example, learning about PRIDE, celebrating differences and learning Makaton. 

There are lots of other activities for children to enjoy after 4:15pm. For example, Just Dance, TT Rockstars and games. Children are also given the opportunity at Squirrels to practise reading to an adult and completing any outstanding homework if they have not completed it that week.

As of Term 6, we will be introducing a Squirrels "Star of the Week". This is where one child who has attended Squirrels will receive a certificate and some house points as a reward for demonstrating our Christian values within Squirrels. For example, being kind to a friend or showing forgiveness when somebody makes a mistake. 

This provision is charged on an hourly basis:

3:15-4:15 - £4

4:15-5:15 - £3

5:15-6:15 - £3

Payments for this need to be made through ParentPay. We politely request that if this is something that may suit you, please make sure that you pre-book your child in for staff knowledge prior to the days they will be attending.

If your child is of nursery age, unfortunately, we have very limited places available at present and any place confirmed will only be available until 4:15pm. Please contact the school office if you are interested in a place for your nursery child.
