Our Nursery is situated on the site of Stickney CofE Primary. Our caters for children from 2 years of age until they start in Reception the September after their 4th birthday. 

At Stickney Nursery we pride ourselves in learning through play. Our activities are not just based on what the children need to learn, but are also driven by their interests.  We have themes for each term and within each theme, children's interests are at the heart of decisions made for their learning and for their enjoyment.  

It is important that our children learn the foundations of learning to ready themselves for Reception.  Therefore, we focus on the seven areas of learning:

• communication and language.
• personal, social and emotional development.
• physical development.
• literacy.
• mathematics.
• understanding the world.
• expressive arts and design.

Our nursery strives to offer the highest quality early years experiences for children and their families. We know that parents know their children best, and it is crucial that from the first visit we get to know each family and each child. Once expressing an interest in our nursery a member of the management team will be in touch and will arrange an induction meeting. We will help you to complete the enrolment forms while finding out a bit more about your child’s likes and interests. We can also arrange some taster sessions to ensure a smooth start to your child’s early learning journey with us at Little Oaks Nursery.
