We are a community where everyone is valued and striving to be the best that they can be. Our staff are caring, supportive and hardworking and we work closely in partnership with the home and the local community and at Stickney with the Church.
Our curriculum intent is for everyone in our community to flourish and achieve their fullest potential in all areas of development. We foster confidence, delight and wisdom in seeking knowledge, understanding and the skills to shape life well. We focus on relationships and commitments and the qualities of character that enable people to flourish together.
At Stickney the ultimate worth of each person is grounded in being created in the image of God and in God’s love and compassion for everyone.
We aim for our curriculum to foster our pupils’ spiritual, moral, emotional, social and cultural development by valuing first-hand experiences such as visits and making the most of our extensive outdoor areas and local community. Our aim is for the natural world to provide a place of wonder, exploration, reflection and self-discovery. We encourage our children to stretch themselves intellectually, imaginatively and actively and to aspire to be well educated.
As an inclusive church school Stickney aims to fulfil the potential of all. We work together to open minds and broaden horizons from the foundation of our shared Christian values. We pursue excellence through our inspiring and creative learning environment and we empower every member of our community to seek positive transformation in the world.
